Trolley tokens in a hurry
Now a regular client, the discerning factor for this client in continuing orders with us is due to our speedy reaction time, as evident in this case. At the time, it had only been their 2nd order – it was a make or break situation, we had to prove ourselves.
Here’s how it started. We got a call from this client for 15,600 pcs of trolley tokens on 9th May. Problem is, they wanted the order to be delivered to France in 15 days. We were able to confirm their order within one day, with the client’s expectation for us to deliver on 23rd May.
We relayed the order to a trusty supplier we handpicked for the job, who then produced a pre-production sample to be sent to Hong Kong for approval. During this stage, it became evident to us that we had to accelerate the processes even further, and so with our client’s blessing we made the judgment call on the sample ourselves (only sending photos to said client).
To make the tight deadline, it was a mandate for the goods to leave by the 17th from Hong Kong to arrive on the 19th of France, making room for the 2-3 day delivery to the order’s final destination in the south.
Finally, Trustus was able to work hand-in-hand with our most competent supplier to produce in a mere 6 days, with the delivery made one day ahead of time, on 22nd May. That’s 15,600 trolley tokens manufactured in just 6 days!
Our hard work paid off when we received nods from this client, who remains in close working contact with Trustus till today.
